Tottenham predicted team vs Fulham: Gareth Bale starts again as Dele Alli and Eric Dier return

Jose Mourinho will want to keep a winning team on the pitch as Tottenham Hotspur travel to Fulham but that might not be as simple as it seems.

The Gareth Bale question is the one that dominates Mourinho's team selection after his man of the match performance against Burnley.

Whether the Welshman can start once again just four days later will be decided by the player himself and the Spurs boss was not giving any hints away in his pre-match press conference.

Ultimately it's likely to be a choice for the Welshman and Mourinho between whether he starts away at Fulham or at home against Crystal Palace on Sunday, with next week's Europa League away game at Dinamo Zagrab to also take into account.

The away game at Craven Cottage against Scott Parker's in-form side might be seen as the trickier to navigate of the two and the one he's needed for the most.

Dele Alli could also come into the team, either instead of Bale or Lucas Moura, who also impressed against Burnley.

Another decision to be made is whether Toby Alderweireld can play three games in a week, something Mourinho and Mauricio Pochettino before him rarely did after his serious hamstring injury.

That could bring Eric Dier back into the team alongside Davinson Sanchez, who impressed Mourinho on Sunday with his dominant performances.

The rest of the team is likely to remain very similar to the one that swept past the Clarets.

Giovani Lo Celso is likely to be the only player still out as he continues to build up his fitness following his serious hamstring injury.

4-2-3-1: Lloris; Aurier, Sanchez, Dier, Reguilon; Ndombele, Hojbjerg; Bale, Dele, Son; Kane.
