Tottenham predicted team vs Chelsea: Giovani Lo Celso starts, Joe Rodon out as Conte adjusts

Antonio Conte is going to have to put together another makeshift Tottenham team against Chelsea on Wednesday as he deals with injuries.

Spurs welcome Conte's old side in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-finals as they try to overcome a 2-0 deficit from the game at Stamford Bridge.

Conte admitted on Tuesday that none of the players who have been out in recent days will be back to face the Blues at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Son Heung-min is out injured until next month while Eric Dier, Sergio Reguilon and Steven Bergwijn have all been out of action.

The Spurs boss will have to build his team around those absences and the matches do not let up with the north London derby on Sunday against Arsenal and then Premier League matches at Leicester City and Chelsea.

Ryan Sessegnon could get the chance to start again against Chelsea while Giovani Lo Celso could make back to back starts after returning from injury in the midfield.

Tanguy Ndombele may drop to the bench after incurring the fans' wrath on Sunday in the FA Cup tie against Morecambe.

Here's the team we reckon Conte could go with to face Chelsea:

3-5-2: Lloris; Tanganga, Sanchez, Davies; Emerson, Lo Celso, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Sessegnon; Lucas, Kane.
