Tottenham predicted team vs Burnley: Oliver Skipp to get the nod from Jose Mourinho to start

Tottenham will have some fresh faces in their side as they head to Burnley on Saturday looking to put an end to a run of four consecutive defeats.

Jose Mourinho's team at Turf Moor will depend on who has emerged from the FA Cup exit without an injury and also which competition he decides to prioritise between the Premier League and Champions League.

There are going to be plenty of tired legs after two hours of football against Norwich and only two full days to recover.

Burnley v Tottenham: Jose Mourinho press conference

Oliver Skipp did his chances of more first team football the world of good with his mature performance and Mourinho confirmed on Friday that the 19-year-old will make back-to-back starts.

Erik Lamela and Tanguy Ndombele also got more than expected game time due to extra-time and the Spurs boss told football.london that both came through it unscathed.

Steven Bergwijn and Lucas Moura both had to come off as they felt they were about to pick up injuries as they were at their limits and Mourinho admitted that he will have to decide whether he can risk both again.

The Tottenham head coach admitted that Dele Alli needed to come off exhausted on Wednesday and that Giovani Lo Celso was at his limit, the Argentine pushed up front to see out extra-time without the need to track back. A decision will have to be made over whether each of them can start against Burnley.

Mourinho was also hopeful that captain Hugo Lloris could be back by Saturday to return between the sticks, but there are some suggestions that Ben Davies may have picked up a hamstring injury.

Here's the team we reckon Tottenham will start with at Burnley.

(4-2-3-1) Lloris; Aurier, Alderweireld, Dier, Tanganga; Skipp, Ndombele; Gedson, Lamela, Bergwijn; Alli.
