Tottenham predicted team vs Aston Villa: Nuno Espirito Santo makes three big decisions

Nuno Espirito Santo has three key decisions to make across his Tottenham Hotspur team as they welcome Aston Villa in the Premier League.

Spurs need to get back to winning ways in the competition following three poor derby defeats, conceding three goals in each game.

Dean Smith's in-form Villa side will present another tough challenge at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Some Tottenham players however will have got plenty of confidence from Thursday night's Europa Conference League victory against NS Mura, regardless of the opposition.

Oliver Skipp showed once again that he should be starting every week in the Premier League, while Harry Kane, Lucas Moura and Son Heung-min got goals or assists after coming off the bench to boost their confidence.

The three key decisions for Espirito Santo will come down the spine of the team.

He must decide on his centre-back pairing to face Villa and also whether to go with the more defensive Japhet Tanganga at right-back or Emerson Royal.

Then in the number 10 role, if he sticks with the 4-2-3-1 from Thursday night, he will have to decide between Giovani Lo Celso, who grabbed a goal and assist in that game, a fresh Tanguy Ndombele, Dele Alli or playing Lucas there with Bryan Gil on the right.

Here is the team we reckon Espirito Santo will choose:

(4-2-3-1) Lloris; Emerson, Romero, Dier, Reguilon; Hojbjerg, Skipp; Lucas, Ndombele, Son; Kane.
