Tottenham player ratings vs Sheffield United: Davinson Sanchez woeful as Son and Richarlison offer zero threat

Tottenham crashed out of the FA Cup with a 1-0 defeat at Sheffield United in the fifth round.

Substitute Iliman Ndiaye weaved into the box to score the only goal of the night, downing an abject Spurs side who never really got going.

Dan Kilpatrick was at Bramall Lane to rate the Spurs players...

Fraser Forster 5

Barely troubled until the goal, which he could only get a toe on.

Davinson Sanchez 3

Looked jittery all night and was easily beaten by Ndiaye for the goal.

Eric Dier 6

Nutmegged for the goal as he tried to block Ndiaye's effort.

Ben Davies 5

Loose in possession.

Pedro Porro 5

Showed a few nice flashes of what he can do after a slow start but end product was lacking.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg 6

Lucky that Ismaila Coulibaly fired wide after running onto the Dane's weak header back to Forster. Looked the most likely to create a goal.

Pape Sarr 6

Recycled the ball well but a little safe. Booked for a lunge on Tommy Doyle in the second half.

Ivan Perisic 4

Offered little in the way of thrust or service from wing-back.

Lucas Moura 5

Energetic but final ball lacking and frequently lost possession running down blind alleys.

Heung-min Son 4

Struggled for rhythm and touch in a clunky performance, lacking any moments of threat.

Richarlison 4

Blazed over his only real sight of goal and drew jeers when he nearly struck the corner flag with another effort. Short of service on a frustrating night.

Subs

Harry Kane (Richarlison 65') 5

A penny for his thoughts as another chance for silverware goes begging. Did not make much of an impression.

Dejan Kulusevski (Lucas 74') 5

Never really got going.

Oliver Skipp (Sarr 74') 5

Moved the ball but not likely to create a goal.

Arnaut Danjuma (Porro 82') 5

Introduced too late to have a real impact.

Not used: Romero, Tanganga, Lenglet, Austin, Devine.
