Tottenham player ratings vs Fulham: Harry Kane hits record goal but Son and Perisic quiet

Hugo Lloris

Made an early save to push away a low De Cordova-Reid shot before pushing away efforts from Reed and Willian in the first half. Tipped wide a curling Solomon strike late on although it looked like it might have been heading past the post already. 7

Cristian Romero

All over the place in the early moments with loose touches and passes under pressure. He improved though and had a real battle with Mitrovic and picked up a yellow card in the second half for a high boot on the Fulham striker. 7

Eric Dier

Took a big bang to the head in the second half but defended solidly throughout. 7

Ben Davies

Sent a perfect header across goal early in the second half that Kane should have headed home. Another who defended solidly to help keen the clean sheet. 7

Emerson Royal

Forced Leno into a save before the break. Got up and down the right flank without too much in the way of penetrative passing or running. Did make an important late interception in his own box in a hard-working display. 7

Rodrigo Bentancur

Not at the level he was against City on his return but he still adds the composure Spurs need in the centre of the pitch. 7

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

A blend of hard work and energy allied with safe passes or misplaced ones. Had a good chance to get the ball to Kane late on for what would have been a good chance. 6

Ivan Perisic

Another below par display down the left, albeit without the mistakes of his last performance. 5

Dejan Kulusevski

Much of Spurs' best work came down his flank and he was a constant threat to the Fulham defence. 7

Harry Kane

Barely touched the ball in the first half before going on a run and firing over. However, just before the break he equalled Jimmy Greaves' record for Spurs with his 266th goal for the club, taking the ball, turning inside and curling a perfect shot inside the right-hand post. Had a big chance early in the second half when he headed a ball straight at Leno from Davies' header across the six yard box. He was the difference for Tottenham and now their joint record goalscorer. 8

Son Heung-min

Showed plenty of fight and he never stopped running but again it was without the impact he is capable of having on games, although he did get the assist for Kane's record-equalling goal. 5

Subs

Richarlison

Came on for Son in the final 15 minutes but didn't add much extra to the team. 5

Yves Bissouma

Replaced Kulusevski in the final minutes to add some fresh legs. N/A
