Tottenham player ratings vs Burnley: Son Heung-min the hero, Tanguy Ndombele bright in late win

Hugo Lloris

Called into action for the first time in the 37th minute as he saved well from Ashley Westwood. Quiet night for the Frenchman in all honesty. 6

Matt Doherty

Made a few good runs down the right but wasn't always picked out. However, did put in a very good ball midway through the first half when he was in possession of the ball. Didn't have that many opportunities to push forward. 6

Toby Alderweireld

Bandaged up as was the case with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg last Thursday following an early clash with Ashley Barnes. Had a battle on his hands all evening but performed well. 7

Eric Dier

Back in the team following his recent injury and did well up against the power of Barnes and Chris Wood. 7

Ben Davies

Got himself in some very good positions going forward but end product let him down a number of times. Very good block early in the second half to deny Westwood. 6

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

Kept the ball ticking over nicely when in possession. Solid shift as ever but maybe didn't have the impact he's had on games recently. 7

Moussa Sissoko

Back in the team and had a tough evening up against Burnley's midfielders. Put in a good shift and remained on for the full 90 minutes. 6

Tanguy Ndombele

Hooked at half-time on his previous visit to Turf Moor but so much better this time. Impressive driving run in the first minute and saw a shot blocked towards half-time after some brilliant play in the corner. Kept going in the second half and played well in his time on the pitch before his late substitution. 7

Lucas Moura

Kept his place in the team after a decent showing on Thursday but really struggled and didn't have many opportunities to catch the eye at Turf Moor. Subbed early in the second half as Erik Lamela came on. 4

Son Heung-min

Came into the game in red-hot form but was kept very quiet in the opening 45 minutes. However, was in the right place at the right time once again to head home from close range. 7

Harry Kane

As was the case with Son in the first half, Kane also struggled as Burnley kept things solid at the back. Did rescue Spurs towards the end with a wonderful header on his own line to stop the hosts taking the lead, before teeing Son up not long after with a header from a corner. 7

Substitutes

Erik Lamela (Lucas Moura, 57)

Tried to make things happen following his introduction and offered more than Lucas down the right. 6

Giovani Lo Celso (Tanguy Ndombele, 78)

Not a lot of time to make an impact as he came on in the closing stages. 5

Joe Rodon (Son Heung-min, 90)

Given a couple of minutes at the end as Spurs defended their lead. N/A
