Tottenham player ratings: Gareth Bale the hero, Harry Kane impressive and Davinson Sanchez poor

Hugo Lloris

Saved well from Marc Albrighton in the first half but wasn't called into action many times to begin with despite Leicester's early dominance. Quiet in the second half again with the Foxes not really testing him. Could do nothing about either of Jamie Vardy's penalties. 6

Matt Doherty

Handed a rare start with both Serge Aurier and Japhet Tanganga missing from the squad. Didn't have many opportunities to attack down the right but put in a solid shift. 6

Toby Alderweireld

Blocked an early James Maddison effort but then gave away a penalty not long after as he clipped Vardy in the box. Remained strong at the back with Leicester pushing on and causing problems. 6

Davinson Sanchez

At fault for the opener after failing to deal with a ball down the left flank which Vardy ran onto, before then fouling the striker after the break as the Foxes were awarded another spot kick. Played his part in the team's second goal as Kasper Schmeichel put the ball through his own net under pressure from the Colombian. 4

Sergio Reguilon

Retained his place in the starting XI despite his nightmare outing on Wednesday against Aston Villa. Better from the Spaniard but still far from his best in a Spurs shirt. 5

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

Given a hard task in midfield but battled well over the course of the game to help Spurs run out winners and seal seventh place. 6

Harry Winks

Kept his place in the middle of the park with Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso not included in the squad. Struggled at times but put in the effort to help Spurs win. 6

Steven Bergwijn

Given the nod ahead of Gareth Bale down the right flank but was only on the pitch for just over an hour. Very few opportunities for him to attack and did little when he was on the ball. 4

Dele Alli

Tried a few through balls in the first half and one came off prior to half-time when he managed to pick out Son Heung-min. Just couldn't work his magic in the final third and was subbed off for Lucas Moura. 5

Son Heung-min

Had a chance prior to half-time but couldn't keep his balance and Caglar Soyuncu was on hand to clear when he tried to pick out Harry Kane. However, the duo combined a few minutes later as his deflected pass fell kindly to the England captain to level things up. Put in the corner for Spurs' second goal of the afternoon with time running out and was involved for the third as he linked up with Kane. 7

Harry Kane

Just didn't have a sight of goal until he volleyed in an equaliser prior to half-time to nudge ahead of Mohamed Salah in the Golden Boot race. Did extremely well late on to keep his composure in the box to tee up Gareth Bale for the winner. 8

Substitutes

Gareth Bale (Steven Bergwijn, 67)

Helped Spurs turn the game around and netted the winner in the closing minutes with a calm finish from the edge of the box. Then netted another in stoppage time after putting home the rebound after hitting the post. 8

Lucas Moura (Dele Alli, 67)

Some good running from the Brazilian as he looked to make things happen for Spurs in their quest to turn things around. 6

Joe Rodon (Son Heung-min, 90)

On for the final few minutes of stoppage time. N/A
