Sacrificed at half-time for Vinicius. Hadn't done much wrong but he was the fall guy after such a poor half from Spurs. 5

Sloppy distribution at times and didn't look his usual composed self. However, he bumped himself up a point or two with a fantastic sliding block to deny Connolly who thought he had an open to fire into. 6

The young Welshman didn't cover himself in glory during the build-up to Trossard's goal, mostly ball watching, but didn't do too much wrong after that. 5

Started at wing-back and then became a right-back in the second half. Worked hard but doesn't have the attacking game to be a threat down the flank. 5

Did plenty of defensive work but couldn't ignite Spurs creatively. Took a heavy knock in the second half and limped off with more than 15 minutes to go. 6

Did what he could in the centre of the pitch and in the final 15 minutes was the lone Spurs man in the middle. 6

Lost Gross down the flank in the build-up to the first goal and then cut inside and couldn't stop Trossard scoring. Didn't offer anything going forward in either half. 4

Came on at half-time and after a good turn sent a shot that the keeper palmed around the post. A willing runner and some nice link-up touches, including a back heel into Lucas' path on the edge of the box. 6
