Tottenham offer advice to fans who may be affected by collapse of Thomas Cook

Tottenham say they are working on "alternative plans" following the collapse of Thomas Cook and have advised any concerned fans to contact their supporter services team.

After failing in its final bid to agree a rescue package, historic tour operator Thomas Cook ceased trading on Monday with all holidays and flights cancelled and retail shops closed.

Such a development is set to affect hundreds of thousands of people, including fans of football clubs that use the travel company for match packages and away trips.

Tottenham have clarified that the only supporters that may be affected are those that have booked coach travel for their Premier League trip to Brighton's Amex Stadium on October 5 or bought premium seats at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium through Thomas Cook.

"Thomas Cook was a third party supplier," a spokesperson said.

"Those likely to be impacted are only those who have booked coach travel for our away fixture with Brighton or purchased Premium Seats at our stadium through Thomas Cook.

"We are currently working on alternative plans and would ask anyone with concerns to contact out supporter services team."
