Tanguy Ndombele slammed by Napoli legend

Napoli legend Francesco Montervino has criticised Tanguy Ndombele for his ten-minute cameo off the bench against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Speaking about his display, Montervino told Tutto Napoli: “I didn’t like it very much. It seems to me, as they say in Naples, that he entered without genius.

“If he wants to, he doesn’t need to be introduced, he’s strong, but with Eintracht, he didn’t seem to be present. He has to have the right motivation.”

Spurs set for AC Milan transfer battle

Tottenham could be set for a battle off the pitch as well as on it against AC Milan as both clubs are hoping to sign Lecce midfielder Joan Gonzalez.

The 21-year-old has impressed in Serie A this season with four goal contributions in 22 appearances with Lecce enjoying a steady campaign in Italy sitting 13th, 10 points clear of the drop zone.

The two clubs have already clashed this season after being drawn against each other in the Champions League. AC Milan hold the advantage at the moment after winning the first leg 1-0. The second leg is set for Wednesday, March 7 and the winner could give themselves the upper hand when trying to sign Gonzalez.
