Second half shocker

Tottenham conceded four times in the second half including three in the first 12 minutes after the restart to completely lose their way at the Etihad Stadium.

Goals from Dejan Kulusevski and Emerson Royal had given them a shock 2-0 lead at the break before a total collapse mounted the pressure on Antonio Conte.

A tale of two halves for the Spurs captain. Made a terrific first half save to tip away Lewis' deflected low shot and denied Haaland soon after. Flapped at a cross towards the Norwegian moments later and then couldn't get enough on the ball during a scramble in the box before City's first goal. He couldn't do much about City's second but was then beaten at his near post by Mahrez for the third. Couldn't do much about the City man's second. 5

Ivan Perisic

Given a torrid time by Mahrez all night as the City man beat him easily down the left for all three of the hosts' goals after the break. At the other end he had a big chance to score but his low show was deflected on to the left-hand post. He was taken off not long after City's third. 3

Vlahovic interest

Tottenham are eyeing a potential move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic in the transfer window, according to reports from CMW. The Bianconeri could be open to a sale of the Serbia international as there's concerns over the financial state of the Italian giants.

Spurs are said to be keen on signing a striker in the coming months amid uncertainty surrounding the future of Harry Kane, who is nearing the end of his contract.

Zaniolo move

Tottenham have had an opening bid to sign AS Roma playmaker Nicolo Zaniolo this month rejected, according to recent reports. Spurs are said to be in the race to land the 23-year-old in January, with West Ham and Borussia Dortmund also chasing a potential deal in the transfer window.
