Tottenham news: Harry Kane tipped for Bayern Munich transfer as Son Heung-min warning sent

Your Tottenham digest on Wednesday, May 18.

Harry Kane tipped for Bayern Munich move

Jerome Boateng has told his former club Bayern Munich to go all out and sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane this summer as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski. Speaking to Florian Plettenburg, Boateng said: "Many strikers have impressed me and at the moment they have the best with Lewy. Benzema can also be mentioned after this season. Personally, I would immediately try to get Harry Kane at FC Bayern. That's my opinion.

"For me, Kane is a complete striker who scores his goals every day at Tottenham. In a very good but not a world-class team. If he plays in a team like FC Bayern, I think that's a super replacement at a very good football age. But that's up to FC Bayern."

Gary Neville sends Son Heung-min instruction

Manchester United have been told to sign Tottenham striker Son Heung-min by Gary Neville. The Sky Sports pundit said in an ideal world, they would sign Kane but that it was an unlikely move. He did, however, insist the South Korean could be brought to Old Trafford.

"They won’t get him [Kane], they absolutely won’t get him. Should Man United take Son? Yeah," Neville said on Monday Night Football. "They’ve only got one centre-forward, Martial’s gone."

North London Derby claim

Gary Neville has claimed that Arsenal's decision to cancel their North London Derby clash with Tottenham back in January has ultimately cost them the top four. The pundit claimed that losing the game so late in the season has left them no time to fight back and that they would have been better placed pushing ahead at the turn of the year.

Taking to Twitter, Neville said: “Cancelling that NLD [North London derby] game has cost Arsenal. They had not recovered at all from Thursday and had this loss been earlier in the season they would have been clear of it."
