Tottenham news: Harry Kane 'prefers' Bayern transfer over rivals as Fabio Paratici work revealed

Kane update

The future of Spurs frontman Harry Kane continues to dominate headlines, with the England captain into the final 12 months of his contract in N17 at the end of June.

German transfer guru Florian Plettenberg has now taken to social media, claiming that Bayern have received signals from Kane that they are his preferred destination. Writing on Twitter, Plettenberg said: "News #Kane: Internally and after new rounds, he‘s the top striker transfer target now.

"Still difficult but #FCBayern got the signal from Kane that Bayern is his preferred destination. #COYS Bayern bosses, planning the next steps now.

"Bayern optimistic to get Kane for less than €100m all in."

Paratici still doing Spurs work

Fabio Paratici is still helping to guide Spurs on a consultancy basis, football.london understands, even though he officially resigned from the Lillywhites back in April.

FIFA's lifting of parts of the Italian's 30-month ban are understood to allow Tottenham's former managing director of football to undertake in consultancy for clubs. Reports in Italy have recently claimed that he has been advising recently-relegated Sampdoria and football.london understands that the north London outfit are also still receiving advice on a consultation basis from Paratici.

Agents spotted

Some members of Tottenham's staff were spotted with one of new signing Guglielmo Vicario's agents as they awaited the talented goalkeeper's arrival at London Stansted Airport.

The Empoli shot-stopper is set to sign for the Lillywhites in a deal worth a reported fee of €19million (£16.3million). football.london reported this week that Fabio Paratici, who is still involved on a consultancy basis with Spurs, was a long-term admirer of Vicario, along with chief scout Leonardo Gabbanini, and had made enquires about the Italian international's availability earlier this year.

Now, Spurs' multi-lingual player liaison officer Roberto Balbontin and team manager Allan Dixon have both been spotted at Stansted along with one of Vicario's agents, Valerio Giuffrida.
