Tottenham news: Carragher makes stadium claim and Mbappe's 'impossible' transfer explained

Carragher's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium claim

Jamie Carragher believes the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is the best ground in the world. The former Liverpool defender named Spurs' home, Anfield and Goodison Park as his three favourite Premier League grounds, but hinted that Tottenham's is currently the best in world football.

Reports have suggested that Google are in talks with Daniel Levy over naming rights for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Athletic have reported "meaningful talks" between Google and Spurs over a deal, but football.london understand no agreement with any company is close at this stage.

“I would say Tottenham’s ground right now," Carragher told Monday Night Football when asked for his top three football grounds. I think very rarely we ever had an English team having the best stadium.”

Mbappe's impossible Spurs transfer

Kylian Mbappe's future at Paris Saint-Germain is uncertain once again. The 23-year-old was widely tipped to join Real Madrid in the summer transfer window but shocked the footballing world by signing a new contract at PSG.

Now, according to Marca, the sought-after forward wants to leave the French capital in January due to the relationship between player and club being 'completely broken'. Mbappe, widely regarded as one of the best players on the planet, has long been linked with a move to the Bernabeu, but the report states the Frenchman no longer wants to move to Los Blancos.

Conte handed double Champions League boost

Antonio Conte has received a double injury boost ahead of Tottenham's huge Champions League clash against Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday evening. Both Dejan Kulusevski and Lucas Moura have returned to training ahead of the game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Kulusevski has been unavailable for the last three games after picking up an issue while away on international duty with Sweden. The 22-year-old suffered a hamstring injury, which was monitored by the Spurs medical team after he complained of a tightness in that area.
