Tottenham news: Antonio Conte's brutal training sessions as Son Heung-min sends message

Antonio Conte has been putting his Tottenham Hotspur squad through their paces during the club's pre-season tour of South Korea.

It comes as Son Heung-min has sent a heartwarming letter to his Tottenham teammates ahead of pre-season in his home country. And Jack Clarke's disaster spell at the club is finally over, three years after his £10million move from Leeds United.

Conte's brutal training sessions

Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte has pushed his players to the bring of exhaustion during a pre-season training session.

The Spurs players took part in an open training session as part of their pre-season tour of South Korea. The two-hour session was hard enough, but afterward players were made to do 42 pitch-long runs.

And the gruelling session caused a number of SPurs players to collapse – including Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and new boy Yves Bissouma. Davinson Sanchez, Bryan Gill and newcomer Pape Matar Sarr were among the fittest, although it was Troy Parrott who led the group back in the final sprint.

"And I want to take this opportunity to say thank you very much, I'm always happy to be with you in Tottenham and I'm proud of the goals we achieved together. Thank you always. Let's go for this season something special. Sonny."

Clarke's disaster spell finally over

Jack Clarke has completed his move to Sunderland, bringing an end to his disaster spell at Spurs.

Clarke returns to Wearside on a four-year deal following a loan spell at the Stadium of Light in the second half of last season. The 21-year-old made 20 appearances and came off the bench as Sunderland secured promotion by beating Wycombe 2-0 in the Sky Bet League One play-off final at Wembley.

Mirror Football has taken a look back at his time in north London, three years after he joined for £10million from Leeds United.
