Antonio Conte has agreed with Richarlison's honest assessment of his own Tottenham form and confirmed that the attacker has apologised for his comments after the club's European elimination.

Following Tottenham's Champions League exit at the hands of AC Milan, the Brazilian pulled no punches in his post-match interview as he opened up on his Spurs career to date and not starting in the Round of 16 second leg tie.

The ex-Everton man claimed that he was told he would start against the Rossoneri if he passed a fitness test the day before, only to then find himself on the bench despite proving his fitness. Speaking to the media for the first time since the incident, Conte was quizzed about the 25-year-old and gave his own verdict on the forward's form since his move to north London.

Nottingham Forest injury worries

Antonio Conte has revealed that Emerson Royal and Ivan Perisic are injury doubts for Tottenham's Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest.

A must-win game for the Lilywhites in the top-four race, the Spurs boss will have to switch both his wing-backs who started in the midweek draw against AC Milan if they are not fit to feature.

Confirming that Emerson did not take part in training on Friday, Conte indicated that Perisic was involved in the session at Hotspur Way, but decisions will be taken over both on the day of the game.

Kane sent Bayern transfer message

Tottenham star Harry Kane is said to be the subject of serious transfer interest from Bayern Munich.

The German champions have been long-standing admirers of the Premier League striker, and could revive their interest if Kane isn’t tied down to a new Spurs contract.

Now Spurs’ all-time leading scorer, Kane has entered the final 18 months of his current deal, which has led to added speculation over his future in north London.
