Tottenham Hotspur have issued a statement surrounding the rearranged Boxing Day fixture with Brighton.
The Premier League clash was originally scheduled for 3pm but will now take place at the earlier time of 12.30pm.
News of the rescheduled clash has irked fans who have huge reservations over whether they'll actually be able to get to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with public transport links expected to be disrupted due to the Christmas schedule.
However Spurs have moved to address the concerns.
An official statement on the club website read: "Ahead of today’s December fixture confirmations, the Club has been making preparations for our home Boxing Day game against Brighton & Hove Albion in the anticipation that there will be minimal mainline train services across the UK.
"We should like to make fans aware that there are unlikely to be any National Rail or London Overground services running through White Hart Lane, Northumberland Park and Tottenham Hale on the day.
"The Club is in discussion with the respective train operating companies to establish the possibility of a reduced service. We are also working with London Underground to maximise Victoria line services that will still be running to Seven Sisters and Tottenham Hale, and Piccadilly line services to Wood Green.
"TfL buses will be running as normal and the Club is working on an enhanced regional coach service with Big Green Coach and additional Shuttle Bus services with First Travel Solutions.
"We shall continue to keep fans updated on Boxing Day travel plans via Club channels."
