Tottenham morning headlines as Tanguy Ndombele targeted by Inter Milan, Solberg signs new deal

Here are your Tottenham Hotspur morning headlines for Tuesday, July 21.

Inter eye Ndombele move

Tottenham may use Inter’s interest in Tanguy Ndombele to propose a swap deal involving two of the Italian side’s players.

That is according to a report by Corriere dello Sport, which states that Antonio Conte is a fan of the out-of-favour Spurs midfielder.

Ndombele has made just two substitute appearances since the Premier League resumed last month, and Spurs could be open to letting the Frenchman depart if they are able to land Milan Skriniar or Marcelo Brozovic in exchange.

Centre-back Skriniarhas enjoyed another fine season at San Siro and has been linked with Manchester United in recent weeks, while midfielder Brozovic has also impressed this campaign.

Solberg signs Spurs deal

Goalkeeper Isak Solberg has confirmed he has signed a professional contract with Tottenham, after turning 17 last month.

The Norwegian shot-stopper joined Spurs from Bryne last summer on what was reported to be a three-year deal, the first two of which would be spent in the academy.

And the teenager has now put pen to paper on the first professional contract of his career.

Solberg confirmed the deal on Instagram on Monday, writing: “Absolutely thrilled to sign my first professional contract with @spursoffical. A big thank you to my family, my friends and everyone who has been there for me.”

Spurs did not have to pay a transfer fee for the youngster because he had no formal deal with Bryne.

However, the Norwegian outfit have confirmed they will receive compensation for their youth product, with the club’s general manager Asle Tjotta saying that “Tottenham have been very good”.

Tottenham confident of centre-back deal

Tottenham are confident they will complete a deal for South Korea centre-half Kim Min-jae, according to 90min .

Mourinho is keen to bolster his options in the heart of the backline with Jan Vertonghen set to depart after Sunday’s clash with Crystal Palace.

Kim, a team-mate of Son Heung-min’s at international level, is expected to leave Beijing Guoan this summer.

Liverpool have also been linked with the 23-year-old but the latest reports state that Spurs believe they will win the race for his signature.

Kim’s current employers are holding out for £15million for the defender, who has won 30 caps for his country.

And although Spurs are yet to offer more than £10m, the club are said to be confident of concluding a deal in the coming weeks.
