Here are your Tottenham Hotspur morning headlines for Monday, June 8.
Don’t play Kane, says Robinson
Tottenham have been urged not to risk Harry Kane's fitness as the Premier League season resumes.
The striker has not played since the start of the year, when he tore his hamstring against Southampton and needed surgery.
Spurs' first game back is against Manchester United on June 19 - but one former Tottenham player says Kane should not be an automatic choice on the teamsheet.
"You have to worry whether Harry Kane can play two or three games a week, whether he can play 90 minutes on a Saturday and then have to wait again for the following Saturday to play another 90 minutes," Paul Robinson told Sky Sports News, as he called for sensible squad rotation.
"It will be all about how Jose (Mourinho) manages the situation because you can't expect a player who has been out after that length of time, to be able to come back and play three games a week with all the demands Premier League football puts on you."
Mourinho tracks Henderson - report
Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in bringing Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson to the club.
Henderson has been out on loan at Sheffield United for the last two years - and now his former boss wants to bring him to London as competition for Hugo Lloris, according to the Mirror.
It was Mourinho who sent the 23-year-old out to Bramall Lane in the first place - and it's possible that after two seasons with the Blades, Whitehaven-born Henderson would not want to move down south.
Rakitic a no-go
Ivan Rakitic has ruled out a move to Tottenham - and said he has no intention of leaving Barcelona.
Spurs are just one of the clubs linked with the Croatia midfielder - but he has now said he will be seeing out his contract, which lasts until summer 2021.
"There is no reason to think about other things," he told Croatia’s Tportal.
"I am training well and I am sure that Rakitic will be in Barcelona longer."
The midfielder did, however, admit that he has been frustrated with his lack of regular first-team football, making 31 appearances in all competitions over the course of the last year.
