Bayern eye Ndombele swoop - report
Bayern Munich are reportedly keeping tabs on Tanguy Ndombele’s situation at Spurs ahead of a potential summer move.
Tottenham broke their transfer record to sign the midfielder from Lyon for £55million last summer.
However, Ndombele has fallen out of favour with Jose Mourinho and his future at the club looks uncertain.
Bayern are considering a summer swoop for the former Lyon man should Thiago Alcantara leave the Allianz Arena ahead of next season.
According to reports in Le10Sport, cited by the Daily Mirror, Bayern will move for either Ndombele or Chelsea’s Tiemoue Bakayoko if Thiago departs.
Ndombele has not started a game since the Premier League season resumed last month.
Alderweireld opens up on big changes at Spurs
Toby Alderweireld has admitted that Tottenham have undergone huge changes over the last two years.
The Belgium international is approaching the end of his fifth season as a Spurs player, having moved to north London in 2015.
Alderweireld was signed by Mauricio Pochettino and had spent his entire Tottenham career playing under the Argentine until he was replaced by Mourinho last November.
"I don't want to be compared to another team," he said. "This team is taking steps and we have a nice big stadium and stuff like this.
"Even the team and the manager that we have is a massive difference from a couple of years ago.
"Everybody has worked so hard for it. It hurts that we are maybe not going to reach it this season, but it gives us more motivation to go next season.
"But our first focus is on the remaining games this season and then we will reflect ahead of next season."
Burley backs Tottenham move for Grealish
Former Premier League midfielder Craig Burley thinks Tottenham should submit an offer for Jack Grealish this summer.
The Aston Villa captain is expected to leave boyhood club Aston Villa regardless of whether or not they stay in the top flight.
Tottenham tried to sign Grealish in the summer of 2018 and Burley believes the attacking midfielder would improve their current team.
"Jack Grealish is a difficult one," he told ESPN. "I don't see him going to Man City. I don't think they'd be interested.
"I think you're looking at Man Utd. Arsenal... I think he would improve Arsenal, he'd certainly improve Tottenham. Those are the types of clubs [that he would suit].”
