Tottenham monitor South Korea centre-back Kim Min-Jae as Jan Vertonghen offers transfer update

Here is your Spurs digest for Sunday, 28 June.

Vertonghen update

Jan Vertonghen says 'there is enough movement' when talking about his future after his current Tottenham Hotspur contract ends.

The 33-year-old Belgium international signed a short-term extension to his expiring contract in order to be available for Spurs until the end of this season.

He has yet to be used by  Jose Mourinho  since the Premier League returned but will likely get game time as the games come thick and fast every three days after next week.

Min-Jae being eyed

Tottenham are believed to be monitoring talks between South Korea centre-back Kim Min-Jae and his current club Beijing Sinobo Guoan.

According to  The Telegraph, Spurs are keeping tabs on the player, who is nicknamed the monster because of his 6ft 3ins height and muscular frame.

The report adds that the 23 is locked in discussions with his side after critical comments about his team-mates and coach were broadcast in his homeland.

Sterling set to depart

Spurs will be willing to listen to offers for Kazaiah Sterling this summer.

A Tottenham source has told  Football Insider  that Sterling is way down their striker pecking order and he is not expected to play for them again

Sterling spent the second half of last season on loan at Sunderland and has only made a single start for Spurs’ first-team.
