Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko makes Christian Eriksen admission

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko has said that he misses having Christian Eriksen at the club, during a Q&A session with fans.

The Denmark international left in January to join Serie A side Inter Milan, who paid around £17million for his services after a successful six-year spell at Spurs.

During a light-hearted Instagram Q&A session on Saturday, Sissoko was asked if he misses his former teammate, to which he replied: "Yes. Nice man and amazing player."

The 31-year-old World Cup winner played alongside Eriksen for more than 6,000 minutes while the latter was at Spurs, with the pair starting together in the 2019 UEFA Champions League final against Liverpool.

Sissoko also confessed his feelings on a number of other topics during the answering session.

He revealed that summer signing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is the best Uno player currently at the club, while the French midfielder joked he doesn't know how close his friendship is with Son Heung-Min because he 'is a strange man'.

And when he was asked to choose between friends Serge Aurier and Tanguy Ndombele, he answered: "No one."

Sissoko joined Spurs from Newcastle United in August 2016 and has gone on to make 167 appearances in all competitions for the club.

He was introduced as a substitute during Thursday's Europa League victory against Austrian Bundesliga outfit LASK and played 26 minutes.

Son and Lucas Moura found the net either side of Andres Andrade's own goal to secure an impressive 3-0 win in their opening Group J fixture.

Tottenham return to Premier League action on Monday night against Burnley, before they travel to Belgium for Thursday's second Europa League test at Antwerp.
