Tottenham are lining up a £40million swoop for Roma whizkid Nicolo Zaniolo.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino wants Zaniolo in his team next season, and hopes to beat Real Madrid , Juventus and Bayern Munich to his signature - if the teenage sensation can be persuaded the quit the Serie A side this summer.
Zaniolo, 19, emerged as one of Europe's most promising midfielders after arriving at Roma 10 months ago as part of the swap deal that took Radja Nainggolan to Inter Milan.
He made 35 appearances for Roma during his breakthrough campaign in the Italian capital.
And he admits: "It is always pleasing to have interest from great teams. But all I am focused on in this moment is seeing out the season with Roma.
"I still have four years left on my contract, and I am happy here.
"I see my future at Roma, but my agent will talk to the club at the end of the season."

The Italian outfit expect to be hit with a barrage of offers for Zaniolo, who sprang to prominence with a brilliant Champions League performance against Spanish giants Real Madrid last September.
And Roma have developed a reputation as a selling club over the past few years after off-loading Nainggolan, Mo Salah and Allison Becker for big fees.
But they will fight to keep hold of Zaniolo, who has claimed six goals and two assists in all competitions so far this term, by offering him a mega-money new pay deal.
