Tottenham Hotspur legend Gary Mabbutt is hopeful of a successful end to the season for his former club.
A penalty shootout defeat at the hands of Norwich City on Wednesday night cost Spurs in the FA Cup, a competition which arguably was their best chance of winning a piece of silverware.
They still have hope in the Champions League, but must overturn a 1-0 first-leg deficit against RB Leipzig next week.
However, after reaching the final of Europe's elite competition last season, Mabbutt has joked that a repeat could be on the cards and stressed that Jose Mourinho's side must get back to winning ways.
"We could be three months away from the next Champions League trophy," he laughs when speaking at the London Football Awards. "We've got Leipzig next week in the second leg, looking forward to that one.
"Big game on Saturday against Burnley obviously.
"We need to get back [to winning games] we're five points behind top-four, we need to get back into contention for that.
"I believe we've got a squad of players, we've got a few injuries at the moment which is really setting us back and the manager is having to rotate quite a lot and I think that's having an affect on us.
"But overall we've got big games coming up, one after the other. Some exciting games for us."
And Mabbutt feels it could be a positive end to the season for Spurs as they aim to seal a top-four finish.
"Yes," he added. "I think top four is still a very positive way of looking at it, it's realistically achieveable.
"Of course still in the Champions League.
"This time last year in the Champions League when you had teams like Man City and Ajax in front of you, everybody wrote us off and we got through to the final.
"Fantastic time last year, hopefully we can do the same this year."
