Tottenham 'leading queue to seal bargain transfer' as six clubs eye Spurs deal

Tottenham have undergone a significant revival since the appointment of Antonio Conte, sitting just two points off the top-four and having two games in hand.

The Italian boss is now being presented with his first opportunity to rejuvenate the squad he inherited in north London, with considerable business on the cards.

A host of departures are being touted from Tottenham but there is incoming speculation too, with the month shaping up to be a busy one.

According to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, Tottenham are in the lead in the hunt to sign AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie.

The Ivorian sees his deal at the San Siro expire at the end of the season, where he's expected to leave, and is free to discuss a pre-contractual agreement with clubs outside of Italy this month.

Paris Saint-Germain and an unnamed Premier League side are said to have also presented offers to Kessie but it's Spurs who are ahead.

Elsewhere, The Daily Star has named six clubs that could eye a move for Tottenham's club-record signing Tanguy Ndombele.

With an exit seeming likely, having been booed off in the FA Cup win against Morecambe, PSG, Newcastle United, Barcelona, Roma, Lyon and AC Milan are touted as suitors.

Finally, Sky Sports states that Spurs are open to offers for Matt Doherty and Dele Alli in the January transfer window.

The pair could make-up half of a quartet leaving in January, alongside the aforementioned Dembele and winger Steven Bergwijn.
