Tottenham involved in Bayern Munich swap deal talks amid Tanguy Ndombele transfer request

Bayern Munich are reportedly trying to sign Tanguy Ndombele from Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

football.london first revealed earlier this month that Ndombele was considering his options this summer and he is believed to have told the club that he wants to leave once again.

The Frenchman also admitted to football.london last season that he told friends within his first few weeks of joining Spurs from Lyon that he wanted to leave the club due to the tough nature of Mauricio Pochettino's pre-season training sessions.

Ndombele is yet to feature under Nuno Espirito Santo this season, and wasn’t involved in any of Tottenham’s pre-season friendlies, which suggests that his time in north London could be nearing its end.

According to Sky Germany, Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have spoken to Spurs about the possibility of a player-plus-cash deal which would see Corentin Tolisso head to England.

However, the club reportedly refused to entertain such an offer, and therefore haven’t taken the negotiations any further.

Plus, it certainly seems as though he is not in Espirito Santo’s long-term plans.

Speaking ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash with Wolves, the Portuguese boss said : "My job here is not to convince players to play for Tottenham Hotspur, it is to prepare players to play for Tottenham Hotspur.”

Ndombele’s situation isn’t ideal, but the club and Daniel Levy will be hopeful of finding a suitable resolution.
