Tottenham injury update: Hugo Lloris, Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr latest news and return dates

A pair of key injuries have rocked Tottenham this week.

Although the likes of Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski are now fit and firing, Spurs have lost Hugo Lloris to a knee ligament injury and Yves Bissouma to ankle surgery.

They join Pape Matar Sarr and Lucas Moura in the treatment room.

And there is also the absence of Cristian Romero to contend with as Antonio Conte continues his own recovery from surgery.

Here is your latest update of Tottenham injuries and return dates...

Hugo Lloris

A knee injury sustained against Manchester City on the weekend will keep Lloris out for between six and eight weeks.

Standard Sport understand surgery has been avoided with Lloris pictured in a knee brace after news of his injury broke. The April 1 fixture against Everton, which comes after an international break, is around the best estimate for his return at this stage.

Yves Bissouma

Spurs confirmed on Thursday that Bissouma will undergo surgery on a stress fracture to his left ankle.

A timeframe on his return is set to be determined later, the club say.

Cristian Romero

Not an injury issue but Romero will be absent for the Leicester game.

Handed a one-game domestic ban for getting sent off against City, Romero should return against AC Milan next week.

Pape Matar Sarr

Sarr has been absent for the last three matches due to a hip injury.

Spurs have not specified a timeframe for the midfielder but reports suggest he will be back for the weekend.

Lucas Moura

The Brazilian’s return from a tendon injury is making progress but Tottenham continue to treat it with caution.

An Under-21s appearance against Arsenal’s reserves on January 27 saw Moura score in 45 minutes of action but he has not played for the first-team since mid-November.
