Tottenham defender Ben Davies will sit out of Sunday's FA Cup tie at Crystal Palace after picking up an injury against Chelsea.
Davies, who suffered a groin strain after 30 minutes, is optimistic he will not be sidelined for long. He said: “I have to see how it is in the next couple of days. I don’t think it’s too bad.”
Meanwhile, Spurs will assess Moussa Sissoko on Friday ahead of the trip to Selhurst Park, but he is unlikely to be risked.
Sissoko hobbled off late on, having only just returned from injury, while both Rose and Serge Aurier finished the game with knocks, but could not be replaced as Spurs had made all three substitutions.
Tottenham will be without Harry Kane and Dele Alli until early March due to ankle and hamstring injuries respectively and they have now suffered a remarkable 37 separate injuries to first-team players this season.
“We’ve just got to get on with it — there’s nothing else we can do,” Danny Rose said after the match. “It’s an opportunity for people to play more regularly, an opportunity for youngsters to be given debuts, be given a run in the team.
