Jan Vertonghen and Eric Dier will miss out for Tottenham in their League Cup quarter-final at Arsenal.
Both players are out of action until January with respective thigh and appendix issues.
Davinson Sanchez and Juan Foyth (both hamstring) are fit, but Mousa Dembele (ankle), Serge Aurier (groin) and Victor Wanyama (knee) miss out.
Harry Kane is expected to be on the bench after suffering from a cold this week, while Paulo Gazzaniga will start in goal.
"He is going to play. I will rotate (laughs). One player for sure, yes.
"We consider Hugo for different reasons as he needs to breath a little bit. I think Paulo, after playing against Watford and West Ham, deserves to play. It's the first time I give news like this after nearly five years!"
