Tottenham injury latest: Mauricio Pochettino unsure if Dele Alli and Harry Winks are fit to face Man City

Dele Alli and Harry Winks are both doubts for Tottenham's crunch Champions League showdown with Manchester City.

Dele fractured his left hand during Spurs' 1-0 quarter-final first-leg win over Pep Guardiola's side on Tuesday night, and has since been training with a protective cast on.

He watched Saturday's 4-0 win over Huddersfield from the stands, as did Winks after sustaining a minor groin injury during Friday's training session.

When asked about Dele's availability for City, Pochettino said: "We'll see, he's not sure. He is doing some training sessions with protection. He needs to feel comfortable.

"It's about if there's pain - it depends on the time. Today, it's difficult to know."

On Winks, Pochettino said: "He was training yesterday and in the middle of the training, he started to feel his groin. We must assess tomorrow.

"It's not a big issue, but it's an issue where he might not be able to play on Wednesday. We are optimistic but we will see."
