The pressure is on for clubs to tie up transfer deals ahead of the new Premier League season.
With just over a month to go until the 2020/21 season kicks off, any team keen to integrate new signings into their squad over pre-season do not have long left to complete deals.
With that in mind, here are the latest Tottenham Hotspur transfer rumours.
Spurs keen on Sarr
The Mirror report that Spurs are the latest Premier League club to show an interest in Ismaila Sarr following Watford's relegation from the Premier League.
There is plenty of interest in the highly-rated 22-year-old, with Liverpool and Manchester United having also been linked with him.
The winger joined Watford for over £25m and was one of the Hornets' best players last season with five goals and four assists.
Yet Watford's relegation means it is difficult to see how they can keep the Senegalese attacker.
They are said to be asking for £40m for Sarr.
Arsenal ignored Hojbjerg advice
The Athletic report that Arsenal ignored their own scout's recommendation to target Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Spurs are set to tie up the signing of the midfielder from Southampton, with Kyle Walker-Peters going in the other direction.
Tottenham have had a long-held interest in the midfielder and have only had to see off competition from Everton to sign him.
Yet there could have been interest from Spurs' rivals had they not ignored advice from Peter Clark, who has been one of the casualties of the long list of lay-offs at the Emirates.
Everton rival Spurs for United defender
The Daily Mirror claim that Everton have shown an interest in Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot.
Spurs have been linked with a move for Dalot, who Jose Mourinho signed at Old Trafford from Porto in a £19m deal in 2018.
The full-back has had limited opportunities this season since the arrival of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Spurs had been reported to be considering a move for him.
United are set to cash in on the 21-year-old as they look to raise funds for other transfer targets.
A bid of £10m could be enough to secure his services.
