Tottenham Hotspur transfer news: Spurs handed Milik boost, AC Milan target Aurier deal

Tottenham Hotspur are yet to make their first forays into the summer transfer window.

Spurs may have landed 15-year-old Alfie Devine from Wigan Athletic but he is unlikely to play much of a part in the senior set-up next season.

It means fans are waiting on tenterhooks to see who Jose Mourinho opts to bring through the door.

Here are the latest Spurs transfer rumours.

Aurier enquiry

Gianlucadimarzio report that AC Milan have made an initial enquiry about the availability of Serge Aurier.

Alasdair Gold's Spurs season debrief and the transfer window

The Italian giants have made signing a right-back a priority this transfer window and Aurier is at the top of their wishlist.

Aurier made 32 appearances in the Premier League for Spurs this season and the club are short in that area of the pitch.

Yet Milan are hopeful that a bid between €12m and €15m will be enough to sign him.

Deeney deal

The Daily Mail claim that Spurs could well make a move for Troy Deeney.

Jose Mourinho is said to be a big fan of the striker and Watford are ready to offload him due to his high wages.

With just a year left on his Hornets contract, Spurs are discussing an initial loan deal before potentially signing him on a free in 2021.

The 32-year-old has netted 47 goals in five seasons in the Premier League and could be utilised as a back-up for Harry Kane.

Milik to leave

Another striker Spurs have been linked with recently is Arkadiusz Milik.

The Polish international is expected to leave Napoli this summer after Victor Osimhen's arrival at the club.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has now told Sky Italy that the player will be sold to the highest bidder provided their valuation of him is met.

He said: "In reality, Milik has always been on the market.

"At this point, he will be sold to the highest bidder, no discounts will be given to anyone.

"Otherwise he will remain at Napoli even without being among the coach's choices."
