Tottenham Hotspur Stadium fire: 300 evacuated from Spurs ground after blaze broke out

Around 300 hundred people had to be evacuated from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after a fire broke out on Thursday.

London Fire Brigade were called to the blaze at the football stadium on High Road in Tottenham at 10am and spent an hour battling the blaze until they had it under control.

There were no reports of any injuries.

Tottenham Hotspur staff had evacuated 300 people from a nine-story building which has also doubled up as a vaccination centre.

The force said that an air compressor was damaged by the fire.

Two fire engines from Tottenham Fire Station were at the scene with fans able to re-enter the club shop and queue for the Dare Skywalk.

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have been approached for comment.
