Tottenham Hotspur squad revealed for North London derby clash against Arsenal

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to put the disappointments of Thursday's goalless draw with Bournemouth behind them when they welcome arch rivals Arsenal to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

After seeing off Everton last Monday night, winning 1-0, Spurs travelled to the Vitality Stadium hoping they could register another victory against a Cherries side staring relegation in the face.

However, Spurs, who played out a 2-2 draw with the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium back in September, were unable to register a single shot on target against Eddie Howe's side.

It was far from the ideal way to perform ahead of a North London derby and Jose Mourinho - the Spurs head coach - will be looking for a reaction from his players, as he experiences a North London derby for the very first time.

And Spurs know they will be in for a stern test against the Gunners, who will arrive at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium aiming to extend their unbeaten run to six matches in league and cup.

After a disappointing showing on the South Coast, Portuguese chief Mourinho is likely to rotate his pack, especially in an attacking sense. Both Heung-Min Son and Steven Bergwijn will be looking to reclaim starting berths at the expense of Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela, who both started against Bournemouth.

Elsewhere, Spurs will also be without midfielder Dele Alli once again due to a hamstring problem. The England international has missed the last two matches as a result of the injury.

Meanwhile, Eric Dier will miss out once again through suspension, with this contest with Arsenal being the second game of his four-game ban.

Mourinho has no other fresh problems to contend with, but defender Juan Foyth remains sidelined, whilst Japhet Tanganga and Troy Parrott are back in training but are unlikely to feature.

Full Tottenham squad: Hugo Lloris, Paulo Gazzaniga, Michel Vorm, Alfie Whiteman; Serge Aurier, Davinson Sanchez, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Ben Davies; Oliver Skipp, Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso, Harry Winks, Moussa Sissoko, Gedson Fernandes; Ryan Sessegnon, Steven Bergwijn, Lucas Moura, Erik Lamela, Heung-Min Son; Harry Kane, Troy Parrott.
