Tottenham Hotspur 'interested' in signing Richarlison from Everton as price tag disputed

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Everton forward Richarlison, according to new reports.

The Athletic claim Spurs are weighing up a move for Richarlison although no formal offer has been made as of yet.

Since helping keep Everton in the Premier League, the 25-year-old Brazilian has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park, with a number of clubs, both home and abroad, said to be in the running.

And The Athletic state Richarlison is among a number of options being considered by Tottenham boss Antonio Conte as he looks to strengthen his squad ahead of the new season. Conte's side will play Champions League football in 2022-23 having finished fourth in the table behind Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea.

The report also states Everton would look to recoup a fee higher than the €60 million (£51 million) reported. Portuguese transfer journalist Bruno Andrade had claimed earlier today that fee would be enough to take Richarlison to Spurs.

The Blues fan favourite made 33 appearances in all competitions last season and scored 11 goals - including a crucial strike in the 3-2 home win over Crystal Palace last month that clinched the club's safety.
