Tottenham Hotspur handed four injury concerns ahead of Man City clash

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has a selection headache ahead the mammoth Premier League clash against defending champions Manchester City.

The Lilywhites travel to the Etihad Stadium with fond memories of the dramatic Champions League clash earlier this year but the history books don't bring too much good news, as Spurs have beaten City only once in the last seven clashes across all competitions.

Spurs' last victory on City soil came in February 2016 and Pep Guardiola will be confident of securing all three points, building upon the victory against West Ham last week.

City will need to be at their best though and they have been handed a boost ahead of the clash, as Pochettino will be unable to call upon four members of his squad.

Son Heung-min serves the final match of his suspension, leaving a huge void in the final third, and Juan Foyth's suspension also leaves Spurs short of options on the right side following Kieran Trippier's move to Atletico Madrid.

22-year-old Kyle Walker-Peters is likely to be given the nod again on the right side of defence, having featured in the 3-1 victory over Aston Villa last week, but these are not the only two problems facing Spurs.

Deadline Day signing Ryan Sessegnon will miss the encounter with a hamstring injury, with Dele Alli also absent from the game with a similar problem.
