Tottenham Hotspur face another injury headache after Dele Alli video emerges

Tottenham Hotspur may have been handed another significant injury blow in the wake of their Champions League triumph over Manchester City.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side won 1-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Son Heung-Min scoring the only goal of the game after Hugo Lloris saved a first-half penalty from Sergio Aguero.

However, the victory came at a cost as star striker Harry Kane was subbed off with an apparent ankle injury and was pictured leaving the ground on crutches, with Pochettino admitting the England international could be sidelined for the remainder of the season.

Now, it appears Tottenham could have another problem heading into their Premier League clash with Huddersfield Town and next week’s second leg against City as Dele Alli has been pictured in a cast.

The comments that will give Spurs a huge lift ahead of Champions League return leg at Man City

Alli was forced off minutes after Kane with a suspected arm injury and the video suggests Tottenham have an issue, as the clip posted on Instragam shows the extent of the injury to the England midfielder.

The fact that Alli is in a protective cast is significant as it suggests that the problem may be serious and further evidence is provided in the caption, where it says 'gutted you won't be playing Fortnite for a while'.

With just a handful of games remaining in Tottenham's season as they look to continue their quest in the Champions League and seek to secure a top-four finish, the two injury problems to key players have come at the worst possible time.
