Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino says Phil Foden reminds him of Manchester City teammate David Silva.
Foden scored the only goal in City's 1-0 win over Spurs in the Premier League at the weekend, marking his first goal in the competition as he continues to impress whenever he is given the opportunity in the first team.
The win kept City's title hopes in their hands, and Foden did not show any signs of inexperience when put into the starting XI as he dived to head City ahead in the early stages.
In a tight encounter, Foden's goal proved to be enough for the win, and Pochettino was full of praise for the youngster's ability in a talented City squad.
Speaking after the game, Pochettino said: "He is a fantastic player, he is a very good player. It is not easy in a team like Manchester City to appear, to play, to start the games.

"It is a massive achievement for him, but a massive achievement for Manchester City. Watching him play you can feel the quality he has."
Expanding on his comments, Pochettino likened Foden's style to City playmaker David Silva - a player who Foden is tipped to succeed in midfield.
"The quality he has, he is a player that can play similar to David Silva," Pochettino explained.
"Similar in the respect of the characteristics that he can play the number eight with a lot of quality play between the lines and can score goals.
"He has the capacity to read games and find space and try to create problems for the opponent. He is a very clever player, very good, I think he is a fantastic player."
