Tottenham handed boost as Everton suffer double injury blow ahead of final Premier League clash

Tottenham have a number of injuries to contend with ahead of their final Premier League game of the season.

Mauricio Pochettino could be without as many as eight first team regulars for the match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.

Juan Foyth, Son Heung-min, Harry Kane, Harry Winks, Davinson Sanchez and Jan Vertonghen are definitely out through a mixture of suspension and injury.

Meanwhile Danny Rose and Victor Wanyama will be assessed ahead of Sunday's game after picking up knocks in the Champions League win over Ajax.

The eight players Spurs set to be without for final Premier League game of the season vs Everton

Spurs thankfully have the cushion of three points and eight goals over their north London rivals Arsenal in the race to finish in the top four, so barring a miracle there is little for them to play for this weekend.

However, they will be coming up against a side in Everton who have injury problems of their own.

Marco Silva, talking during his pre-match press conference, revealed that the Toffees will be without two of their key frontmen for the game in N17, while there are doubts over another player too.

He said: "Richarlison came out of the last game with that problem with the rib. He will be out on Sunday definitely.

Marco Silva opens up on Chelsea's transfer ban and Everton's hopes of signing Kurt Zouma

"Dominic Calvert-Lewin is enjoying his moment. He’s not able to play the next match but he has a good competition to play during the summer.

"Let's see if [Seamus] Coleman can play or not, it's a small problem with his groin."
