Tottenham goalkeeper Joe Hart makes clear statement on social media amid Celtic transfer talks

Joe Hart has made it clear that he is not being distracted by the talk about his Tottenham future as Celtic attempt to sign the goalkeeper.

The 34-year-old former England stopper joined Spurs last summer on a free transfer and played 10 times under Jose Mourinho in the cup competitions.

However, it is understood that new Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo has told Hart that he is not part of his plans for the coming season.

Having played the first 45 minutes in the first pre-season friendly against Leyton Orient, the experienced keeper has not appeared in subsequent matchday squads.

Scottish side Celtic have registered their interest in Hart and are attempting to work out a deal when it comes to his wages and potential nominal fee to Tottenham, with the goalkeeper having a year left on his contract.

On Friday morning, Hart posted a photo of himself in training the previous day on his Instagram Story with the caption "Nothing but focus, no matter what #relentless".

Tottenham signed a new goalkeeper in Pierluigi Gollini on loan from Atalanta with an option to buy him permanently.

Hugo Lloris returned to training this week and was on the bench for the friendly win at MK Dons while academy goalkeeper Alfie Whiteman has impressed with starts in both of Spurs' friendlies against Colchester United and in Milton Keynes.
