Tottenham midfielder Georges-Kevin Nkoudou has arrived in Istanbul to complete a £4.6m move to Besiktas.
Nkoudou joined Spurs from Marseille for £11m in 2016, but has failed to make an impact at the north London club.
The 24-year-old has started just four matches for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, none of which have been in the Premier League.
His only goal came in a Champions League group game against Apoel Nicosia in 2017 and he has been loaned out to Burnley and Monaco, making a total of just 11 appearances.
Despite coming on as a substitute in the opening League game against Aston Villa earlier this month, Nkoudou is not part of Pochettino’s long-term plans.
Besiktas will hand the Frenchman a four-year contract worth around £29,000-a-week, subject to passing a medical.
The switch means Spurs have made a significant loss, however they have inserted a clause which ensures they will receive 50 per cent of any future sale.
