Tottenham flop Georges-Kevin Nkoudou completes £4.6m Besiktas transfer

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou has officially left Tottenham after finalising a move to Turkish giants Besiktas.

The French winger arrived in Istanbul on Thursday to complete a permanent move worth £4.6million.

Such a transfer has now been confirmed by Nkoudou and both clubs, with the 24-year-old signing a four-year contract worth around £29,000-a-week after passing a medical.

Nkoudou failed to impress for Spurs after joining from Marseille in an £11m deal in 2016, making just 11 Premier League appearances and spending time on loan at Burnley and Monaco.

In a tweet addressed to Tottenham supporters, Nkodou said: "It's now time for me to leave this great club that is Tottenham.

"Even though our story wasn't the one I hoped for when I arrived here, I still feel like I learned a lot, as a player and as a man.

"I've always tried to give my all for this team and this club, and wish my teammates and staff the very best for this season, and the followings.

"Also a big thank you to the fans who had my back and supported me through the times."
