Hugo Lloris
Quiet opening period for the goalkeeper as he had little to do with Spurs in total control. 6
Gedson Fernandes
Operating at right-back but did have licence to push forward often. Decent showing from him in the opening 45 minutes but could have done a bit more on the ball when he was in the final third. 8
Juan Foyth
Bit of a loose touch midway through the game to lose possession but was very quiet at the back. Excellent pass to set Son Heung-min free for Tottenham's third goal. 7
Toby Alderweireld
Straightforward first half for the Belgian international with Ipswich not laying a glove on Spurs. 6
Ben Davies
Few opportunities to push on and didn't get forward as much as Gedson. Steady as always. 6
Harry Winks
Calm and composed on the ball in the middle and actually was the midfielder to sit deeper as Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg pushed on. 7
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
Some nice early touches from the new signing as he kept things simple and looked to win the ball. Played his part in the second goal after winning it on the edge of the area and playing in Dele Alli. Good start to life in a Tottenham shirt. 8
Lucas Moura
Few openings for the Brazilian but his final ball was lacking at times. Put himself about as always as he looked to make things happen. 6
Dele Alli
Had a role in Spurs' first two goals after teeing up Ryan Sessegnon and then Son to find the net. Saw a lot of the ball and impressed. 8
Ryan Sessegnon
Opened the scoring in the sixth minute with a low finish after taking down Alli's pass. Appears to have bulked up in pre-season and looked good when on the ball in his attempt to impress the boss.. 8
Son Heung-min
The attacker was on the scoresheet after nine minutes with a simple finish, before then doubling his tally 20 minutes later with a brilliant dink over the Ipswich goalkeeper. 9
