Atalanta Right-Back Timothy Castagne has opened the doors for a move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer, hinting that he would choose a move to Spurs over Arsenal should both clubs come calling.
The defender has been linked with a move to the Premier League during the transfer window, with Spurs among clubs including Paris Saint-Germain and Sevilla interested in taking him.
Atalanta arse said to be wanting a fee of around £20 million if they are to sell him this summer.
Tottenham will be looking to bring in a right-back during the window, having been thin on the ground in that position for a number of seasons.
After opening the door to a Premier League move earlier in the summer, the Belgian international has now given more encouragement to Tottenham over a potential move, while also aiming a slight dig at North London rivals Arsenal.
"I think the time has come to move on, but I won't be disappointed if I stay,” he told La Derniere Heure .
"I'm very proud of this. It's proof that hard work pays off. I hope it's more than just simple interest from [interested teams].
"I was especially a fan when Thierry Henry played for (Arsenal). Now I'm not so much.
"You have to be honest with yourself. When a team like PSG or Tottenham come knocking on your door, you can't say 'no'."
Castagne has played 32 times for Atalanta this season, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
