Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Darren Bent has given his appraisal of Jack Clarke's transfer to his old club.
Clarke has put pen to paper on a contract until 2023 with the north London club, moving for a fee thought to be in the region of £8.5 million from Championship Leeds United.
The 18-year-old has since returned on loan to Leeds for the 2019-20 season for another campaign in the second tier.
He made his senior debut for Marcelo Bielsa's side last season, going on to feature 22 times and scoring twice as the Whites fell to a play-off semi-final defeat to Derby County.
Clarke has many admirers and Bent, who spent two seasons at Spurs in the previous decade, has backed the winger to be a hit with his new club.
"Clarke, he really impressed me for Leeds, he was brilliant,” he told Football Insider.

"I thought it was only a matter of time before somebody came and got him."
Clarke became Spurs' first signing since Lucas Moura's arrival from Paris Saint-Germain in January 2018.
Tanguy Ndombele followed shortly after from Olympique Lyon, with Mauricio Pochettino strengthening his side with young prospects.
And Bent reckons Clarke will benefit from Pochettino's tuition and will blossom into a star under his watch.
"Listen, great signing for Spurs and in a couple of years’ time he’ll be a top, top player," Bent added. "Brilliant for himself, Clarke, too, because he’s progressed really well, brilliant for Leeds last season and he fully deserves this move.
"He’s one you’ve got to keep your eye out for."
Clarke came through the Whites' academy, impressing with the under-23s before signing his first professional contract.
Bielsa, who Pochettino is close to, handed Clarke his professional debut in October last season and he hasn't looked back.
