Tottenham fans will love Sergio Reguilon's reaction to Spurs teammate's tweet

Sergio Reguilon hasn't taken long to make new friends at Tottenham.

The Spanish full-back only joined the club this summer, signing on a £37million deal from Real Madrid to strengthen Jose Mourinho's back-line.

Reguilon joined the club with fellow Real Madrid star Gareth Bale, who joined on a season-long loan, so he was guaranteed at least one friend upon making the switch to North London.

But it seems Reguilon is popular among the Spurs dressing room anyway, already striking up a bromance with fellow new arrival Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who joined on a £15million deal from Southampton during the summer.

Reguilon sat out on Monday night as Spurs claimed a hard-fought win over Burnley thanks to Son Heung-min's second-half goal, Ben Davies preferred at left-back.

And after the game, Hojbjerg paid homage to the win, writing on Twitter: "These are the wins! We showed our fighting side. Love it! COYS."

Reguilon replied to that tweet, showing his admiration for Hijbjerg, simply replying 'I love you' with a heart' emoji.

Who knows whether Hojbjerg feels the same way, but it's pretty clear Reguilon is already fitting in nicely following his summer move to North London, something fans will be delighted to see.

Reguilon recently spoke about how Bale helped him make the decision to join Tottenham and how he is fitting in.

"I spoke with Bale when I was in Madrid," he told Sky Sports. "He told me what it was like at Tottenham. It was helpful for me to come here with someone who was already a team-mate.

"I could ask him things, like how certain things were going to work.

"The truth is he helped me a lot and so have the others. Since the first day, all my team-mates have welcomed me very nicely. They are always coming to me asking if there's anything I need, or if there's anything they can do, and they have helped me on the pitch too.

"Bit by bit, I am getting to know them more as people, not just as players I know from the PlayStation or the television. Now, they are all in contact with me and I know them better. That really helps."
