Tottenham Hotspur fans have picked up on an interesting message from Jose Mourinho in training.
The Spurs boss and his coaching staff have been putting the first-team squad through their paces at Hotspur Way ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash away at Sheffield United.
Having dropped points at home to Fulham on Wednesday night, Mourinho will be hopeful of not suffering the same fate against a side who currently sit bottom of the table.
It could be somewhat of a revenge mission for the north London outfit having lost the corresponding fixture against the Blades last season.
A win for Spurs will see them move level on points with Liverpool - albeit temporarily with the defending champions kicking off later in the day at home to league leaders Manchester United.
The good news for Mourinho is that he doesn't have many injury problems to deal with.
But will he rotate his side for the game at Bramall Lane and hand Gareth Bale a recall to a Premier League starting XI for the first time since the 1-0 win over West Brom in November?
Well, judging by an apparent exchange between the pair in training, that remains to be seen.
Spotted by @thespursweb and uploaded to Twitter, the Portuguese boss appeared to have given the current Spurs no.9 an ultimatum regarding his short-term future.
"You want to stay here or go to Madrid and play no football?" Mourinho asked.
Whilst Bale is not in the shot, the assumption is that he is who Mourinho was speaking to.
After all, the Wales international rejoined Spurs in the summer after struggling for game time at Real Madrid.
As expected, this has prompted some chatter from Spurs fans on social media.
@MichaelElsey said: "I don't think that Bale cares where he doesn't play. On the bench laughing and joking for 90mins without a care in the world.
"Very different to Dele's reaction after the Fulham game. Bale has lost his passion for the game."
@THFCMichel said: "To Bale or Reggy?"
@DwaineHutton said: "Clearly Danny rose has been in Jose's ear asking have Madrid been back in touch."
@g10_c10 said: "My first thought was Reggie, not Bale. Playing football, enjoying his time here, Jose starting the mind games to get him to stay in case Real look to activate the buy-back clause."
@jeffreyboadi_said: "Talking to Bale for sure."
