Tottenham fans send Danny Rose message after 'fiery' Jose Mourinho chat revealed

Danny Rose’s frank conversation with Jose Mourinho has certainly got the football world talking.

The latest episodes of 'All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur' have aired, with the Spurs pair having a tense meeting over Rose’s lack of playing time.

In the documentary, on Amazon Prime, Rose is seen in Mourinho’s office where he tells the former Chelsea boss about how he was “excited” following the appointment earlier in the season, but he would train from home if he was not wanted.

“Let me try to be as open as I can with you, because I think you deserve that,” Mourinho replied. “When I arrived you played some matches, you were on the bench other matches and I didn’t select you other matches.

“And I think this is not what a player wants, because a player wants to feel trust.

“The week before Liverpool, you were fantastic in training – fantastic. And that made me decide that probably the most difficult game against the most difficult opponent – you played.

“I think you didn’t play well. Then the next game against Middlesbrough Tanganga played so well and is so strong defensively and didn’t make any mistakes because he is so fast and so powerful – I cannot say you are going to be first choice.”

Rose then went on to question how often he played, the defensive record under Mourinho and teammates' performances in training, before signing off by saying he would speak to Daniel Levy.

Unsurprisingly the clip has caught the attention of many Spurs fans, who have been reacting on social media – with split opinions on the matter.

@mank56: Either we will get the best out of Rose or he will be offloaded. Can’t see Mourinho wasting too much time over him.

@joe_ashton1717: Anyone else think this Danny Rose thing has been blown completely out of proportion? Just seemed to me like two blokes that disagreed and attempted to settle it without making it uncomfortable got everyone else.

@OwenSorrell: I don't think the Danny Rose conversation was terrible, if anything Rose ended it abruptly at a time when they would of been able to find a solution.

@joelgoodman: I’ll always love Danny Rose.

@SambhavSawant16: Just finished watching the 6th episode! Man what a moment that was between Rose & Jose.

@JordanStevens92: That meeting between Mourinho and Danny Rose was a bit fiery wasn't it!

@livvysavage: I don’t see anything wrong with what Danny Rose said, I think he should start personally.

@JosephTHFC81: I don’t hate Danny Rose, I like how frank and honest he is.

@chandogg4: That Danny Rose and Mourinho chat is exactly what I wanted from this documentary. Although people say Rose is a bad egg etc, I think he’s bang on. His honesty and straight talking are refreshing IMO.
