Tottenham fans reveal what they like the most about the Spurs stadium and what needs to improve

Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust has today released its findings from their annual fan survey.

A record 4,302 fans took part in the survey at the end of June and made their thoughts known on key issues regarding the club.

Asked about a range of topics from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to season tickets and away games, the findings make for very interesting reading for supporters.

Mauricio Pochettino's side have only played seven games at their new stadium since returning from their time at Wembley and it has proved to be a huge hit amongst supporters.

A staggering 95% of fans stated they were satisfied with the fan experience at their new home following a previous satisfaction rating of 52% at the national stadium.

The new facilities have also proved to be a major hit as 61% of fans are inside the ground an hour or more ahead of kick-off, with 93% inside more than 30 minutes before the game gets going.

The catering and range of food and drink has been a success as 80% are satisfied with the price and 79% satisfied with the range of options to choose from.

However, one issue the fans taking part in the survey seem to have a problem with is stewarding as only 55% are satisfied with it.

Fans were also quizzed about the atmosphere at the new ground and 84% are very happy with it, while that figure rises to a whooping 98% for the European games the club has so far held back in N17.

Standing sections at stadiums has long been a topic of discussion with many fans wanting to stand at games following the success of rail seating in the Bundesliga and other leagues.

A total of 93% of fans taking part in the survey support standing sections and 57% stated they would like to stand themselves at games.

Another topic that supporters were asked about was the price of tickets to watch Spurs in action.

Unsurprisingly, 74% of fans were happy with the pricing for away league games given the £30 cap and 59% were satisfied with prices for away cup games.

While supporters are happy with prices for away games, the prices of Champions League matches didn't go down well with fans as 70% were dissatisfied with the pricing for the final at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

Spurs held two European games against Man City and Ajax at their new stadium and 43% said they were dissatisfied over the ticket prices.
